A Back Lock is a locking system on the back of the handle. This mechanism uses a tilt mechanism rotating on a hinge in the center of the arm. A lip on one side of the arm drops into a notch on the back of the blade to lock the blade in the open position.

The ergonomically designed handle, measuring 8.40 cm in length, is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). This material is not only extremely light (the entire knife weighs only 34 grams), but also resistant to abrasion, shock and various chemicals. The textured grip provides optimal control even in wet conditions.
