Cytac Universal Shoulder Holster Harness

The Cytac Shoulder Holster Harness is a modular and ergonomic carrying system designed for the concealed and comfortable carrying of a firearm and magazines under clothing. Weighing only 190 grams, this harness effectively relieves pressure on the waist belt, making it ideal for extended shifts or situations requiring discreet carry.

The harness is constructed from abrasion-resistant Cordura webbing combined with softly padded shoulder straps and elastic connectors that move with the upper body. The system features two dimensionally stable polymer mounting plates with tooth gear fasteners. This allows compatible holsters and magazine pouches to be adjusted through a full 360-degree range. Thanks to its well-thought-out symmetrical design, the harness is fully ambidextrous: the holster can be mounted under the arm on either the left or right side, with the magazine pouch on the opposite side to serve as a counterweight. The harness has a universal fit (“one size fits all”) and comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Benefits for the Target Audience

- Fully adjustable for left- and right-handed users: The polymer mounting points can be used equally on both sides for pistol holsters or accessory pouches.
- High wearing comfort during prolonged use: The padded shoulder straps distribute the weight evenly across both shoulders and prevent pressure points on the collarbones and neck.
- Natural freedom of movement: The integrated elastic insert flexes when you bend over, reach, or run, ensuring the harness fits snugly without constricting.
- 360-degree adjustable angle: Using the notched polymer mounting points, you can precisely adjust the draw angle of your holster and magazine pouch to suit your personal preference and arm length.
- Durable and sweat-resistant: The combination of military-spec Cordura and high-quality polymer absorbs virtually no moisture, does not fray, and withstands intensive daily use.
- Universally adjustable: The wide range of adjustment options makes the harness suitable for virtually any body type and allows for easy adjustment over thermal underwear, shirts, or light jackets.

Instructions for Use and Adjustment

- Putting on and adjusting: Put on the harness like a vest. Adjust the vertical and diagonal Cordura straps so that the back crossover point is centered between your shoulder blades and the mounting points hang neatly under your armpits.
- Mounting the holster and pouches: Remove the existing paddle or belt clip from your Cytac R-Defender holster or magazine pouch. Align the notches with the polymer mounting plate on the harness, select your desired horizontal or diagonal draw angle, and tighten the mounting screw hand-tight using the Allen wrench.
- Attaching to the belt: Secure the lower loops to your belt to prevent the harness from shifting upward when drawing the firearm.
- Maintenance: Clean the Cordura straps with a damp cloth and mild soap if they become sweaty or dirty. Rinse the polymer components with water and allow the harness to air dry only.

- Professional officers in plain clothes: Detectives, personal security guards, and security officers who need to carry a handgun and spare ammunition discreetly under a suit jacket, coat, or vest.
- Drivers and seated personnel: Employees who spend a lot of time in vehicles, where a standard hip holster can be uncomfortable against the car seat or seatbelt.
- Shooters and airsoft players: Enthusiasts looking for a stable, tactical shoulder platform for a classic draw and even weight distribution.
