Cytac Tactical Leg Mounting Platform

The Cytac Tactical Leg Mounting Platform (Drop Leg Platform) is a modular carrying system designed for professionals and shooters who want to move their holster and accessories from the hip to the thigh. With a total height of 17.5 cm and a weight of 159 grams, this platform provides a stable base without adding unnecessary bulk to your gear.

The platform is constructed from high-quality, wear-resistant military-grade polymer that withstands heavy mechanical impact, moisture, and extreme temperatures. The panel features two separate mounting points with a tooth gear system. Compatible tactical holders can be secured to these points at a continuously adjustable angle of 360 degrees. The platform is compatible with all Cytac R-Defender holsters, single and double magazine pouches, flashlight holders, handcuff holders, and pepper spray holsters equipped with a toothed gear attachment.

To ensure a secure fit, the platform is equipped with a vertical belt loop for attachment to a duty belt or service belt, and an adjustable leg strap featuring non-slip material and a robust quick-release buckle. The product comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Benefits for the Target Audience

- Two mounting points for modular configuration: Allows you to carry both a primary pistol holster and an additional accessory (such as a magazine, handcuff, or pepper spray holder) on a single leg platform at the same time.
- Hip-area clearance: Prevents the holster from getting caught under heavy body armor, plate carriers, or backpack hip belts, ensuring that access to the firearm remains unobstructed at all times.
- 360-degree adjustable draw angle: Thanks to the rack-and-pinion mounting, each mounted accessory can be tilted to the exact desired angle for a quick and natural draw.
- Stable, non-slip fixation: The elastic, adjustable leg strap with a woven non-slip texture prevents the platform from shifting or rotating while running, kneeling, or moving across rough terrain.
- Maintenance-free polymer: The impact-resistant plastic does not warp, does not absorb moisture or sweat, and is easy to clean after use in mud or rain.

Instructions for Use and Assembly

- Belt attachment: Open the vertical loop at the top, slide it over your tactical belt or duty belt, and adjust it to the desired hanging height.
- Adjusting the leg strap: Place the contoured platform against the outside of your thigh, fasten the leg strap’s quick-release buckle, and tighten it until the panel fits securely without restricting blood flow.
- Mounting accessories: Remove the standard paddle or belt clip from your R-Defender holster or accessory holder. Align the teeth of the accessory with one of the mounting points on the leg platform, set the desired rotation angle, and tighten the central mounting screw securely with an Allen wrench.
- Maintenance: Simply rinse off sand, salt, and mud with cold or lukewarm water. Allow the platform to air dry.

Who is this product suitable for?
