For reliable and long-lasting operation of your Princeton Tec Switch RGB MPLS, we recommend the following:
- Lighting settings: Test the programmed color settings before entering an operational environment. This prevents the accidental activation of an unwanted light frequency.
- Battery replacement: Keep the inside of the battery compartment dry while replacing the two CR2016 batteries. Pay close attention to the polarity (+/-).
- Weather Resistance: The housing is splash-proof according to the IPX4 standard. This is sufficient for light rain, but clean the light after exposure to extreme mud or salt water by wiping it down with a slightly damp cloth.
- Gooseneck: Avoid extreme twisting or repeatedly bending the flexible neck sharply around the same axis to prevent internal metal fatigue in the conductors.
