Benchmade Soft Sheath Large Black Nylon Knife Sheath

The Benchmade Soft Sheath Large Black is a practical and lightweight knife sheath, designed to safely and scratch-free carry compact to medium-sized folding knives. With a total length of 14.5 cm, an internal usable size of approximately 50 × 125 mm, and a weight of just 21 grams, this sheath offers effective protection without adding extra bulk to your gear.

The exterior is made of heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant 1680-denier ballistic nylon (polyamide). This material is known for its exceptional tear resistance and durability during daily use and under heavy loads. On the inside, the sheath is equipped with soft protective liners that cushion direct contact with hard objects and prevent damage to handles or blade coatings during transport in a bag or glove compartment. The sheath closes securely with a sturdy Velcro closure, keeping the knife firmly in place while remaining quickly accessible.

Benefits for the Target Audience

- Durable 1680D nylon construction: Offers excellent resistance to friction, fraying, and dirt, ensuring the sheath lasts a long time in demanding environments.
- Soft internal protection: The integrated lining prevents scuffs and scratches on valuable grips (such as G10, titanium, or anodized aluminum) and blade coatings.
- Reliable Velcro closure: Securely seals the compartment against dust and accidental opening, yet opens quickly and quietly with one hand.
- Light as a feather and compact (21 grams): Takes up hardly any space and fits effortlessly into a backpack, jacket pocket, EDC organizer, or toolbox.
- Understated tactical look: The all-black finish blends seamlessly with professional gear, outdoor packs, and everyday bags.

Instructions for Use and Care

- Use: Fold your pocket knife closed and slide it into the opening with the back or the pocket clip first. Press the flap with the Velcro closure firmly into place. Check that the closed length of your knife falls within the internal dimensions of approximately 50 × 125 mm.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Remove dust and sand by shaking out the inside. To clean the nylon exterior, simply wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap if there are stains. Allow the case to air dry; avoid machine drying or direct heat sources.
